Humza Rana

Humza (b. 1995, Karachi) is a Berlin-based painter currently pursuing a studio art degree at the Universität der Künste Berlin. His practice examines how collective histories shape figuration and the construction of social imaginaries. Through material experimentation and layered narrative structures, he interrogates visual hierarchies, dismantling entrenched modes of perception. His works resist stable meaning, engaging with the image as a deterritorialized form—one that exists in a continuous process of rupture and transformation.
